Keyboard Key Test

Press any key. Detected keys are highlighted instantly. Browser shortcuts can block some key combinations.

A better starting point

Does one key fail intermittently?

The visual key map is a quick check. If the problem is intermittent, the Problem Isolator is more useful because it compares missed prompts with a control key.

How to use it

  1. Choose Auto, Turkish Q, Turkish F, or English US for the visual keyboard layout.
  2. Press the keys you want to check one by one.
  3. Verify that each pressed key is highlighted on the visual keyboard.
  4. Also try any combinations you suspect are problematic.

How to interpret the result

If the browser receives no event when you press a key, there may be a key or connection issue. However, operating-system shortcuts and browser behavior can block some special keys.

Test limitations

This test does not directly measure the physical switch, membrane, or electronics; it only shows keyboard events received by the browser.

Privacy

The test runs in your browser. Supported history and report data in this version is stored locally in your browser using localStorage.

Frequently asked questions

How does the keyboard test work?

The browser listens for keydown and keyup events and highlights the physical key position on the visual keyboard.

Are Turkish Q and F keyboards supported?

Yes. You can choose Turkish Q, Turkish F, English US, or automatic layout detection.

If a key does not appear, is it definitely broken?

No. The operating system, browser, or keyboard shortcuts may intercept some key events.

Important: Testarya results are based on input events observed by the browser. They should not be treated as definitive electronic diagnostics or a professional service report.
