How to use it

  1. Press left, right, and middle buttons inside the test area.
  2. Try Back/Forward side buttons if your mouse has them.
  3. Scroll the wheel up and down.
  4. Confirm the counters and last detected event change.

How to interpret the result

If a button is never detected, investigate the button, driver, or connection. Reversed or inconsistent scroll direction can increase suspicion of an encoder issue.

Test limitations

The browser may not expose some manufacturer-specific extra buttons as separate events.

Privacy

The test runs in your browser. Supported history and report data in this version is stored locally in your browser using localStorage.

Frequently asked questions

Can mouse side buttons be tested?

Yes, if the browser exposes them as standard button events. Inside the test area, Back/Forward side-button navigation is blocked; outside the test area, normal browser navigation is preserved.

Why doesn't right-click open the context menu?

The context menu is blocked inside the test area so the right-button event can be measured directly.

Important: Testarya results are based on input events observed by the browser. They should not be treated as definitive electronic diagnostics or a professional service report.
